About Waypoint Financial

Our Vision Statement

To Improve the Quality of and Confidence in Your Financial Well-being

Our Story

A “Waypoint” is a reference point that helps us know where we are and where we are going. Every location on earth can be found by its specific latitude and longitude - its waypoint.  Waypoints are used to mark specific locations, landmarks, destinations, and often, areas of danger to avoid. Whether we are walking, driving, sailing, flying, or planning for retirement, waypoints can help us find our way. A waypoint helps tell you where you are, but not necessarily where you want to go or how to get there. In navigation, a series of individual  "waypoints" are linked together to map out a course to guide a person to their desired destination.

At this point you may be thinking, “How does all this relate to Financial Planning?” At Waypoint Financial, this is how we approach the Financial Planning Process.  Our goal is to spend the time getting to know you and your personal financial situation by first identifying “Where you are" currently, then assisting you in pinpointing your  financial goals to know "Where you are going", finally, developing a personalized plan to guide you to your ultimate destination as safely and efficiently as possible.
